Self-Defense &#8211; Clinch &amp; Holds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Class A:<\/strong> Escape from a <strong>Front Bear Hug<\/strong> over the arms with a combination of:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hip Throw<\/strong> to off-balance your opponent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transition into <strong>Knee on Belly<\/strong> for control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class B:<\/strong> Escape from a <strong>Rear Bear Hug<\/strong> over the arms:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Execute a <strong>Rear Takedown<\/strong> with control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transition into <strong>Sidemount<\/strong> for dominance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 <em>Tip:<\/em> Bear hugs are common in real-life situations. Sport Jiu-Jitsu &#8211; Back Control | Turtle Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, we\u2019ll explore <strong>Back Control<\/strong> and <strong>Turtle Position<\/strong>, two critical positions for attacking and dominating in Jiu-Jitsu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Class A:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Taking the Back from Turtle Position<\/strong> using the <strong>Seatbelt Grip<\/strong>, creating space for the hook placement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Clock Choke:<\/strong> A classic and powerful submission from the Turtle Position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class B:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Taking the Back from Turtle Position<\/strong> using the <strong>Lapel Grip<\/strong>, a highly effective control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two Collars Choke &amp; Rear Naked Choke:<\/strong> Two dominant submissions to finish the fight once you control the back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 <em>Tip:<\/em> When attacking from the Turtle Position, focus on precision and control.
